About UM Chi Alpha

Chi Alpha is a Christian campus ministry that seeks to build a community of friends that live life together and earnestly follow Jesus. We at the University of Montana are just one group within a whole network of Chi Alpha groups at university campuses all over the world!

College is an exciting time – you’re often in a new place, figuring out this adulting thing, making new friends, and getting ready for the life and career you’ll have after you graduate. We also know it can be stressful and scary, and we want to come along side you in these years of self-discovery, growth, and big questions. Wherever you’re at in your faith journey or beliefs, we believe that God has a purpose for every student on campus, and wants to be a part of your college years.

There’s three things we want students to do in XA:

Discover Jesus

Discovering Jesus is sometimes a loud song or a silent prayer. As we discover Jesus, we learn how to better love God and love the people around us.

Make Friends

Making friends is doing life together! With friends, you have a place to belong. You can ask questions and explore the answers togehter.

Live On Purpose

Living on Purpose is learning to find our mission, follow Jesus, and explore the possibility of a life where heaven and earth collide.

If you’re looking for any of these, come find out more!
